The initial spreading of this virus was said to be transmitted from civet cats to humans (for SARS-CoV) and from dromedary camels to humans (MERS-CoV). <\/p>\n<p>Now that it has caused an epidemic throughout various countries, people are totally freaked out while figuring out how to combat this deadly virus. Initially, to prevent the spread of this virus, people were advised to wash their hands frequently, cover their mouths while sneezing or coughing and to cook meat thoroughly before eating it. But while passing the various preventive measures, people circulated their own set of safety measures, some of which were just a myth.
